We are a family who love being around dogs and are available during the day to look after yours. From a Pug to a German Shepherd we have had the privilege to spend time with them all.
Your dog will be treated as if they are ours and we promise to play and look after them.

Whether your four legged friend is with us for a half day, a full day, overnight, or a regular , or a one off visitor, you can rest assured they will be looked after and played with.

Please rest assured we have looked after many dogs that are timid or shy and who may never have been left before.  We always give them space to feel comfortable and get used to their surroundings.

Whether your four legged friend is with us for a half day, a full day, overnight, or a regular , or a one off visitor, you can rest assured they will be looked after and played with.

We will walk your dog everyday however if you have specific requirements we can arrange for one of our local professional dog walkers to do longer walks. If you have an older dog who only needs a short walk we can accommodate this too. Just let us know.

If you are having to travel abroad for a while - work or perhaps an extended holiday,  we offer a longer dog care service.  Please complete our enquiry form giving us some information and we will be happy to discuss this further.

If your dog requires regular medication or a bit of extra attention we are more than happy to do this too.

We are located 5 minutes from the M74 for super easy access.

For extra exercise we visit a secure dog field where your dog can run around safely and have fun.

If you find you need your dog or a family dog cared for in an emergency  e.g. during the night,  please call us and we will try our very best to help.

If you are working from home some days and in the office on others -
we can visit, let your dog out for the toilet, feed them and bring them back in safely. See our visiting and let out service.

We are very proud of our own dog who gave almost a pint of his blood to help save other dogs.  Please see Pet Blood Bank to check if your pet could be a donor too.

Why day care?

Dogs are sociable animals and with the Covid 19 lock down in 2020  there was been less opportunities to meet other dogs and owners. Mental stimulation is equally as important as exercise and day care allows your pet to interact in a friendly environment. As we only have a small number of dogs in at any one time your dog will not be overwhelmed and will have space to be alone if they choose to be. Some dogs also love to be in charge and this can help other dogs learn how to be a dog. The different personalities in the house make it a fascinating place for dogs of all ages and breeds.

What we need from you before booking

As your dog will be spending time with other dogs we need to minimise the risk of your dog becoming ill. As part of the conditions of using Willow Dog Care we need you to make certain declarations to us so it is important you read the terms and conditions on the booking form.
It is a requirement that your dog has upto date vaccination against Parovirus, Distempter,  and Lepto.  We would also strongly encourage your dog to have kennel cough treatment.
